Using Two-Factor Authentication

Once two-factor authentication is enabled in an instance of re:Members AMS, it must be enabled under the Configurations App and a user must follow certain steps in order to enable it.

Enabling Two Factor Authentication Site-Wide

  1. Navigate to the Configuration App > Settings > Security.

  2. Change the Two Factor Authentication setting to “Google."

  3. Click Save.

Using Two Factor Authentication When Logging In

  1. Download the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device.

  2. Navigate to your My Profile page > Account tab > Change Password menu option. 

  3. At the bottom of the page, locate the Two-Factor Authentication section and click the Google Authenticator Setup button.  A QR code will appear.

  1. Open Google Authenticator on your mobile device and scan the QR code. 

    The next time you log out and back in, a field will appear requesting an authentication code.  Enter the code from Google Authenticator and click the Verify button.
